(Ruidoso Downs, NM) Jockey Enrique Gomez brought home both winners of the two trial races today for the $107,631 Mountain Top Futurity for thoroughbreds at Ruidoso Downs Race Track.

Gomez rode Holy Rebel to a two-and-a-half length win in the fifth race, and rode home Waning Crecent in the seventh race to win by three-quarters length.

A total of five thoroughbreds qualified in both races to compete in the finals of the Mountain Top Futurity on Sunday, June 23.
