All-American Art Festival Comes to Ruidoso Downs During Trials Weekend/New Mexico Horse Sale

Ruidoso Downs Race Track will welcome artists and vendors from throughout the region this coming weekend as part of the All American Art Festival inside the track’s grandstand and in the Santa Fe Furniture Events Center.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday promises to have jam-packed activities with more than 25 vendors for shopping, a total of 46 trial races for the All American Futurity, Oaks and Derby, plus the New Mexico-bred Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Sale happening each evening in the sales pavilion.

First post time is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, but shopping vendors will be open at 10 a.m. First post time on Sunday is 1 p.m., and general admission and parking are free.

The list of vendors in the grandstand for the weekend includes: Wild Wire West, Victorian Memories, Linda Manion Artistry, Quetzalli. Jan Long, Black Market Boots, Blue Quail Designs, Traditions Past & Present, Girls Gotta Have It, JAD Custom Engraving, Silver By Dave, Terra Leather and Double Bar M Boutique.

Vendors participating inside the Santa Fe Furniture Events Center include: Elevated Glass Art, Wilderado Silverworks, Texas Treasures, Small Town Sign Shop, Chavez Jewelry, Zia Knives, KD Bar Customs and Papalito’s Workshop.
