Ruidoso Downs Cancels Live Racing, Postpones Bourbon Fest

RUIDOSO DOWNS, N.M. (June 6, 2024) — Ruidoso Downs is cancelling live horseracing this weekend. The safety of our team members, guests and horses during this difficult time is our top priority. Because of the current situation, we are also postponing this weekend’s Bourbon Fest. We will have an update on the event once we select a new date.

“I want to thank everyone who has reached out, concerned about the track, our Ruidoso Downs family and the horses during this time,” said Ruidoso Downs General Manager Rick Baugh. “At this time, the Ruidoso Downs property has not been impacted. I ask that you please continue to pray for this community and the men and woman who are on the frontline fighting these fires.”
